1. Face Creams, Moisturisers and Lotions

Why use Aloe Vera for Face Creams, Moisturisers and lotions? Because of its great NATURAL moisturising ability. This means that they are:

  • Fantastic for dry skin
  • Great at improving the elasticity and moisture content of your skin.
  • They will also help if you have sore, red or sunburned skin.

Tip: Choose one with a good proportion of Aloe Vera gel in it to make sure you get the therapeutic benefit.  Products which contain healing and soothing ingredients are also good for the skin . Such as Jojoba oil, Vitamin E, Oatmeal or Apricot Kernels.

Aloe Vera is great at complimenting other ingredients. Using Aloe vera for face treatments and products is standard with most skin care companies due to its versatility.

Pure Aloe Vera gel is great if you have oily skin as it won’t clog the pores.  It will also help with pimples or Acne ( as the gel is anti bacterial).

Tip: Try to find a gel which does not have alcohol in it ( if you can). Although you may want to dry out your skin, alcohol will be too harsh and may make it sore and red. The gel by itself is cooling and soothing and will help your skin to heal.
